Role of the Supervisor
The Supervisor is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Town and presides at all meetings of the Town Board. She executes all Board-authorized contracts on behalf of the Town. The Supervisor establishes all committees on the Board and appoints their members.
As the Town's Chief Fiscal Officer, the Supervisor has custody and responsibility for all Town funds and investments. State mandates require a detailed financial report to be prepared annually by the Supervisor.
The Supervisor has been designated as Budget Officer and has responsibility for preparation of the Preliminary Town Budget. Adopted budgets are published on this site: the 2001 budget summary, the 2001 budget in full detail, and the 2002 budget in full detail.
