The Highway Department, under the direction of the Superintendent, is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Town roads, as well as for the removal of snow and ice. Normal maintenance includes cleaning and replacing culvert pipes, trimming trees, clearing brush and maintaining visibility at intersections as well as maintenance of street signs. The Highway Department is also responsible for the maintenance of the Town Water System.
All highway machinery and equipment is maintained by the Department.
